Today is Mothers Day!!!
How did you celebrate your mother today? Me? I celebrated my aunties and Grandmother among other family members at a brunch. Then I took my Mommy out and we got pedicures! It was fun and relaxing and we walked away with big smiles and pretty feet. (:
Aside from the happiness of today spending it with my family there was also a shadow... Today was also hard for me. I should have had a baby in my arms this mothers day had he not gone on to heaven to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ.
My heart aches today because I desire to hold my baby in my arms. The only thought that keeps me going is one that my Pastor shared with me when I had a miscarriage. Pastor Kuna Sepulveda of Word of Life said that my son skipped over being here on Earth and went straight into the arms of our heavenly Father. That my son wouldn't know pain or sin or hurt. He would only know pure joy.
Thank you Father for watching over my son and I can't wait to meet him in heaven.
