being blessed with free furniture thats in great condition

being present when my brother and his girlfriend got prayed for at church

snuggling with my husband

ministering the word of God to others

my comfy bed

central air conditioning!! THANK YOU JESUS! (: 

KNOWING THAT I'M GOING TO HEAVEN!!!

I know it's been a while since I've written. I just don't seem to have the time! So I figured I'd do a quick update and fill you in on all of God's favor since I've last written.

My husband is sent to Georgia for work for 6 months! I hear a word from God that I'm to go and be with him. So I find a ticket to get there for under $500!!!

Anywho today I get to go shopping for some much needed clothes. I go to check out and to my unbelief I get about $300 worth of clothes and jewelry for $100!!! Thank you LORD!

And more than a few times when the parking lot is full ANY WHERE I go I find a spot close to the store and right away.

Thank you Lord that I have favor in YOU.

Sisters

So on friday night my sister came with me to my church. I was super surprised and really excited. We ended up hearing a great word from Pastor Cesar from Bogata.

Afterward a few friends and I went to Zippy's for great fellowship before I leave for Georgia.... I'm very excited because my sister really liked church and had a blast with my friends.

Lord I thank you that with you all things are made new. That the old is GONE and that I am NEW in Christ Jesus. I look forward, I'm moving forward and ready for all that is waiting in my future as I focus on YOU. 

Happy Anniversary

When I got married 6 years ago today, I was 18 and people said it would never last. Well those people weren't betting on God being our foundation. Thank you Lord for 6 wonderful years with my best friend and for the awesome years to come.

Allow God to prune you!

Last night Pastor Art preached about Mothers and how to grow. 


One point was: 


You must cooperate with pruning in your life.

² He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.

                        John 15:2 (New Living Translation)

I prayed a prayer that God would close doors that he needed closed in my life and open up doors that he wanted me to go through. You know that saying "be careful what you wish for"? Well he's provided way to shut doors on friendships in the form of friends grown apart. 


I have an ache in my heart for a few friends with whom I was becoming very close with and we were becoming best friends, shared our most inner desires and secrets. Then over time we all got busy and now I don't talk to them at all. And when I do try to reach out they don't respond.


Though I don't want to lose them as close friends I finally realized that God was trying to shut the door telling me that though these friends were good for laughs they weren't supporting me spiritually. 


After the message this Sunday I realized that I need to allow God to shut the door on those friends and move on to the open door waiting for me.


Are there any doors that God is trying to close in your life that you're not allowing to close completely? Know that when you trust in Him, all things work out for the better.
